101 DEGREES is an exercise in observation and a critical analysis of the system in which we live. The central question is simple yet profound: what is humanity's place in a world saturated with contradictory symbols, warning signs, fake news, and promises of a better life through increased consumerism?

Across the five songs on this EP, ROOTWORDS takes us on a journey into a realistic-fiction world. The sonic backdrop accompanies a human captive to the system, exploring different facets of their life such as relationships, work, consumer habits, and their reactions to governance. As their conformity and communal assimilation are put to the test, will they manage to make sense of their journey?
